An obscene crank caller was sentenced to four years in jail. That might sound extreme but this was an extreme case. Allan Snell worked at a Safeway in London and spent 83 percent of his weekly wages on prepaid cellular minutes to make obscene phone calls. In one six week period he is reported to have made 6,000 calls.
