Jupiter's Research Business: Sold For $250,000

from the ouch dept

Jupiter was, of course, one of the high flying research firms of the dot com boom days. While it’s true that many people weren’t all that impressed with their research (and others blame Jupiter and the other analyst firms for helping to pump up the dot com bubble) it’s still a bit surprising that they sold off what’s left of the research and events business for the tiny sum of $250,000. They sold it to INT Media Group, publishers of internet.com.
