On Wednesday we wrote about the folks in Norway who were having trouble accessing some historical records that had been locked away in a database after the only guy with the password died nine years ago. It apparently didn’t take very long for hackers to break the seal and pass along all of the unencrypted data. Of course, if this happened in the US, I wonder if the “good samaritan” would now be charged with a criminal offense…
