All You Can Eat Long Distance
Wireless is eating into fixed-line long distance calling. People have such huge buckets of national minutes it’s cheaper to call from the cell than the landline. Fixed-line carries are trying to win back bususiness by offering flat-rate long distance. Sure poeple are just trying to use up minutes, but I another overlooked factor is that more and more we’re starting to think about calling a person and not a location. Fixed line carriers are about calling a location.
