ACLU Still Says Face Recognition Doesn't Work

I am not a big fan of face recognition and doubt that it works well. I agree with people who say it’s probably causing much more trouble than it’s worth at airports. However, I still find it odd that the ACLU thinks they’re qualified to judge the effectiveness of such systems. However, unlike last time, when they decided face recongition didn’t work based on a variety of assumptions that weren’t necessaraily true, this time they have some numbers to back up their claims. Again, it’s not that I don’t think the systems really do work, but I’d much prefer to see some sort of independent (non-biased) third-party test the systems to see how well they really work.
