Business 2.0 has a good overview of US wireless carriers’ changing view of Wi-Fi. They are realizing that Wi-Fi is complimentary to their 3G plans and another way to introduce US wireless consumers to wireless data. VoiceStream is the market leader right now with a dedicated team of 60 people working on seamless roaming between their Wi-Fi and GPRS networks.
