Can The Internet Save Comics?

from the maybe-possibly dept

MIT’s Tech Review has an article about the comic book industry and how the internet may be its last hope. Turns out, for all the hype that comic books generate, it’s a pretty small market – and it’s been getting progressively smaller. New comics can retain creative control and post their works online while they “wait to be discovered”. The article also discusses how there are “crossover” hits of comic book writers with television and movies. Seems like just about any other entertainment medium. Online is just another channel.
