Too Much Virus Hype

We’ve said it before that most viruses are overhyped – but the mainstream media still loves to report on virus after virus after virus. Here’s the first “mainstream” article I can remember seeing that admits that maybe (just maybe) all these virus reports are a bit over hyped. Remember, the companies that hype them up are the companies that make their money by selling you your anti-virus software. They’re not exactly an unbiased party. Generally speaking, whenever I hear about a virus I go to Vmyths.com, because they tend to take a more realistic view about the “danger” posed by various viruses.
