More Symbian Support

Siemens is the newest co-owner of Symbian. In addition Motorola, already a co-owner, pledged that its new DragonBall processors would be Symbian compatible. Symbian is handset manufacturers’ attempt to challenge Microsoft’s entry into the smartphone and connected device OS market. While Symbian is designed from the ground up for wireless networks and devices, it lacks the seamless integration that the Microsoft wireless platform will have with Microsoft’s Exchange servers. This could mean that Symbian and its licensee’s could take the consumer market while Microsoft takes the enterprise market.
