Ad Critic Gets Bought By Ad Age
from the phew dept
So, it appears AdCritic.com won’t die after all. The Ad Age Group has purchased the site and will relaunch it, along with content from their various advertising related magazines. However, it does look like much of the site will be accessible only with subscription fees…

That's great...
Make consumers pay for ads! There’s a revenue-generator! You get ’em coming and going…
Re: IRONY
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that consumers would pay money to see advertising….?
Re: Re: IRONY
Nope you are not. If anyone should pay to keep Adcritic alive it should be those companies who’s commercials are hosted on the server. Compare the cost of the TV slot to what Adcritic would need.
I’m really annoyed and unless someone is willing to share their logon information with me, it looks like I won’t be using Adcritic.com. It’s a shame. I used to take my dial up modem right to the limit with their site…
Re: That's great...
I’m thoroughly disgusted. I wonder how many morons are actually going to pay the $69.95 a year they’re asking. *start sarcasm* Of course, you get a free subscription to “Creativity” magazine if you sign up! *end sarcasm*
Re: Where
so now where can us poor freeks see the worlds greatest ads?
