Smaller Web Archives

The British Library apparently hasn’t heard of the Internet Archive (or doesn’t care, or doesn’t like it, or just wants to be different) and has decided that they’re going to start archiving portions of the internet themselves. I think this is a good thing. While I think the Internet Archive and the Wayback Machine are incredibly cool and very useful – it would be nicer to have multiple, searchable archives out there to make sure that these things really do get preserved in some manner.
