Robots With An Emotional Connection

Sony has been working on a new robot that apparently tries to build an emotional connection to humans around it. The “robot” just seems to be a ball that flashes various colors and can move to music. I’m not exactly sure where the emotional part comes into play. Interestingly, the robot was designed by the personal audio division and not their robot division (makers of the Aibo).
