Napster Has A Year To Prove Claims Against The Recording Industry

from the quite-a-bit-of-time dept

Don’t expect the Napster case to be over any time soon. The latest is that the judge has granted Napster their “discovery phase” until January to dig up all the info they need to show that the record companies colluded against Napster, and that the record companies really don’t own the copyrights they claim they do. Of course, there’s always a chance that the industry and Napster will settle between now and then, meaning we would miss out on yet another fun and exciting trial.
