iCraveTV Might Not Be Returning For Long

from the when-is-a-settlement-not-a-settlement dept

A few weeks ago we had a story saying that the site iCraveTv was returning, saying they had “worked out” all the legal issues that would allow them to rebroadcast TV on the web. At the time we were confused, because it was unclear exactly how all these legal issues had been worked out. It seems that the way they “worked out” these legal issues is that they didn’t work them out at all. In fact, it’s not even the same iCraveTV that got put out of business before. It’s just a different company that is using the name and daring the TV companies to sue them (which, I’m sure will happen soon enough).
