The Golden Age Of Ecommerce Profitiability?

from the say-what? dept

As most of the dot com ecommerce plays have gone out of business, those that are left may be the survivors – and may be entering a “golden age of ecommerce profitability” according to this article. The surviving companies have cut back costs, and figured out ways to increase margins to the point where many are actually profitable. Of course, many of these profitable companies are small, private companies. So, I wouldn’t expect to see a lot of these ecommerce sites suddenly popping up on the Nasdaq any time soon.
