It sounds like a bad Disney movie. We’ve spoken before about how Honda and Sony are both working on humanoid robot products, but it appears they’re taking a different focus. Sony, as you might expect, is working on an entertainment robot that sings and dances and… well… entertains. Honda, on the other hand wants to make their robot practical, so that it will serve you and perform useful tasks. I think we should put them together in an apartment, add a laugh track, and see what happens…
