Fewer Women Surfers In The Workplace

While studies have shown that in the U.S. there are more women online than men, that appears to only be true at home. In the workplace, many more men than women use the internet. Even when they do use it at work, they use it much less than men do. The study suggests that a lot of this has to do with “socio-cultural” factors where more men have managerial positions that involve internet use, and many women still are in clerical and administrative positions that require less internet usage.
