An interesting article about how far Africa lags behind in getting online. Of course, there are plenty of reasons for this. There are certainly more pressing issues in many countries where there’s not enough food and/or no political stability. On top of that (or perhaps because of that) there’s not much in the way of electricity or telecommunications infrastructure needed to get internet access to many parts of the continent.
