Explaining The Dot Cons

from the was-it-really-that-bad? dept

News.com has an interview with John Cassidy, the author of Dot.con: The Greatest Story Ever Sold, which is actually pretty interesting. A lot of the books coming out these days simply seem like ways to cash in, but Cassidy is coming from somewhat (though not completely) of an outsider’s view, and makes some good points in the interview about what was going on. He hasn’t gone to any of the extreme viewpoints and sounds like he actually took a balanced look at all the hype and who was conning who.
