People Are Paying For Online Music

from the really? dept

Wired News has an article saying that people actually are signing up for the “official” online music programs. However, they don’t have much in the way of actual numbers. No one will say how many people signed up, because they think it will look tiny compared to the number of people who used to use Napster, or who now use a FastTrack of Gnutella system. I wonder what type of people are signing up right now? Are they people who feel guilty for getting free music? Are they people who just don’t realize they can get more, better music for free?
