AOL Blocking Trillian Users From AIM

from the stay-out dept

When will AOL realize that they’ll have more people using IM if they stop being so damn selfish? They’re now shutting out Trillian users from being able to access AIM through Trillian. Trillian is fairly popular software that makes it easy for people to log into multiple IM clients at once. AOL is saying it’s a security issue, which is what they’ve always said – but the fact is they just want people to be forced to view AOL ads.
