AOL Blocked Harvard Admissions Email As Spam

from the if-you-have-an-AOL-address... dept

Oops. Harvard apparently sends out admissions emails telling people whether they’ve been accepted or rejected for admissions. While some of us (snotty elitists that we are) think that having an AOL email address might be a fairly large strike against anyone wanting to get into Harvard, it appears that AOL solved that problem. Many hopeful students with AOL addresses waiting to hear from Harvard never got their admissions email because AOL decided that it was spam. AOL says they don’t know what caused them to block the Harvard messages.
