Stadium Names And Tech Companies Don't Mix

from the not-looking-good dept

Ouch. Forbes looks at a number of American stadiums, coliseums, and ballparks that are named after companies, who pay for the sponsoring rights. A number of those companies are in serious trouble. The latest, of course, being Enron Field, now that Enron is not likely to last much longer. 3Com has also told Candlestick they’re giving the name back (which should make a lot of 49ers fans happy). Are there any companies that are doing well that have named stadiums?
