Ted Turner On Ted Turner

from the shouldn't-have-sold dept

An interesting article about Ted Turner talking about his career. He starts off by saying that it’s unfortunate that all the cable companies are merging – and he predicts there will soon be two cable companies: AOL-TW, who will buy AT&T Broadband, and then Cox and Comcast, who will be forced to merge. The rest of the article has some amusing stories from his career, including how he started the “Cable Music Network” as a sham to help cable companies force MTV’s prices down.
