Web Services: Hype Or Reality?

This one seems to be a popular topic in the past few weeks. Now, News.com has their own “special section” about whether or not web services are the real deal or just more silly hype that will quickly go away. With the amount of press coverage it’s been getting lately, I think we’re definitely pushing towards over hyped. It won’t take long until people start dismissing the concept of “web services” because they didn’t already happen last month. Maybe then, something useful will come out of them.
