What Will The E-Holidays Bring This Year?

What will the holidays bring for online retailers? There are now a bunch of articles asking that question. There are a number of factors that will play into what eventually happens and no one has any idea how strong each of those will be. Are people going to shop online more because they’re afraid to go to the mall? Are people going to shop online less because they don’t want to ship packages anywhere using our mail system? Are people going to shop online less because they don’t trust all these online merchants that keep going out of business? Are people going to shop online more because the retailers that have survived are better able to actually handle holiday related orders? No one seems to have any idea what the answers to these questions are, but that will never stop them from speculating.
