Irish Airline Not Concerned About Online Security

from the don't-hack-until-Wednesday... dept

This is quite a story. It seems that Irish airline Ryanair is asking anyone applying for a job to apply over their website. That’s not a problem. However, they’re also requiring a ?50 payment, which requires a credit card. The problem is that all this information is sent through a simple, non-secure email form. The folks at Ryanair dismiss this, saying that they’ll have it secure sometime next week. In the meantime, plenty of people are still applying, so they don’t see what the big deal is.
