Internet fraud complaints are up and more people are falling for various net scams all the time. The article here looks at some of the scams and who usually gets scammed (newbies and the elderly). The best precaution that people can take to avoid a net scam? Common sense, the article says. That’s incredibly useless for most people – how do you get common sense? To avoid net scams you shouldn’t trust anyone or any site implicitly, you shouldn’t reveal too much information about yourself, and do some research on whoever you’re dealing with.
