This seems like the type of book that should have come out two years ago. Instead, it’s coming out now, saying that the the internet isn’t revolutionary but just an additional step towards technological advance. That excerpt is from a book called Ruling the Waves, which is probably interesting – but already out of date, despite just being published this month.
