Trapping Worms

from the proactive-approach dept

Instead of just bitching and complaining about worms, someone has built a system to catch and hold them and prevent them from causing more damage. While people quotes in the article express doubts about how effective this solution is, it’s a good start. It’s good to see people working on more useful means of protecting systems. This is, at the very least, a good start, that will hopefully convince others to create better systems. Sure, the virus and worm creators will build better viruses and worms to overtake the blocking systems – but we should at least make it as difficult as possible for them.
