Inside The Demise Of The Standard

from the corporate-battles dept

There have been a couple stories about “what went wrong” with the Industry Standard, but News.com seems to have a pretty detailed scoop of the last days at the Industry Standard. It sounds as though there was a bit of corporate fighting between CEO Rich Marino and former CEO, and still Chairman, John Batelle. There is also some complaints about how parent IDG handled some of the situation. Either way, they’re still looking to sell the property, and apparently there’s some interest from folks like AOL (are they going to rename Business 2.0 which was already renamed from eCompanyNow?).
