Is Bluetooth Dead On Arrival?

from the popular-question dept

Last week we posted an article that suggested Bluetooth had no future as a wireless connection standard, and it appears to be a popular topic, because the NY Times has also decided to write their own version of such an article (admittedly, only for those of you who aren’t afraid of the scary “registration” process). The NY Times article is a little more diplomatic in discussing both sides of the issue (as opposed to just declaring Bluetooth dead). Personally, I think that people are spending too much time thinking about this. Consumers don’t care about Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. They just want something that works well and is easy to use.
