The Old Fashioned Startup: Earning It

from the what-a-concept dept

Now that all that many of the “get rich quick” folks have realized they’re not getting venture capital at all, it turns out if you look around you can find a number of companies that are building their business the old fashioned way. That’s right, they’re actually getting customers to pay them revenue, and expanding slowly and methodically “brick by brick”. There are a lot of people who are still interested in entrepreneurship and starting companies, and for once, it seems like they’re carefully thinking through real business plans. Of course, I think it’s overly optimistic to think the get-rich-quick crowd is really gone, but it’s good to see some that some solid businesses might come out of all this mess.
