Computer Games Make You Smarter

from the someone-send-this-article-to-Prince-Charles dept

It was just a couple of weeks ago that Prince Charles blasted computer games saying they were hurting our children or something along those lines. So, here it is two weeks later, and we have a study that shows most people who play video games (not obsessively) are smarter, better looking, and just downright cooler than those who don’t. Okay, maybe it doesn’t say that exactly, but that’s the basic gist of it. The casual computer game player appears to be somewhat better adjusted to society than those stick in the muds who bash computer games without knowing what they’re talking about. Computer games are also very useful for training people in all sorts of things, such as race car driving. Of course, we knew that already.
