Why AT&T Broadband Is So Cheap
from the management-screwed-up dept
A look at the mistakes AT&T made in moving into the cable world that now makes their cable business inexpensive enough for Comcast (and potentially others) to try to buy them out. By associating their cable operations with their phone operations, AT&T basically destroyed the cable operations – while others (like Comcast) focused on increasing margins in the cable business. Of course, that doesn’t mean that a company like Comcast can solve the problems of AT&T Broadband, but they apparently would like to try.
