The Future According To Microsoft

from the it-looks-a-bit-lonely-at-the-top dept

An amusing scenario in the Washington Post of what Microsoft would like the world to be like in the year 2010. Basically, no matter what you do online, you pay Microsoft for it. Halfway through the scenario the writer tells how Steve Ballmer came to visit the Washington Post, and all she could think of was that he was just spinning everything away from the truth: which is that they’re crushing the competition and want to get as much money as possible from users. The whole thing, of course, is a little farfetched, but still a good read.
