Will Culture Jam For Food

from the for-those-who-don't-understand-parody dept

It seems that the guy who created Voteauction – a parody site during the election where people could sell their votes to the highest bidder – is facing $3,800 in legal bills thanks to lawsuits from humor impaired folks who thought the site constituted election fraud. I don’t understand how cases like this don’t get dropped the second the guy points out to his accusers the definition of “parody” in the nearest dictionary. Anyway, to pay for his legal bills, he’s now giving talks where he pretends he’s pitching the VoteAuction business for real.
