The Press Got Swept Up In The Hype

An article talking about how badly the press got swept up in all the dot com hype. Also, for once, instead of just covering the story – the press was part of the story. They were either competing with dot coms for talent, or they were preparing for ridiculous astronomical IPOs of their own. Now the fall out is hitting them as well, and so is it any surprise that there will be a sob story or two coming from the press itself?
