Fire Fighters Using A Magic Carpet

Found over at GeekPress is a great story about a new hovering platform being created for firefighters. It can do a vertical launch, and can go much higher than your standard firefighter’s ladder. The platform can hold ten people. I agree with the folks at GeekPress who think it’s cool, but would really like to have one just for personal use. It would be great to hover over the traffic jams on 101 and laugh at the silly people in their primitive “cars”.
