Cyberstalking On The Rise

from the showing-up-in-the-workplace dept

Apparently, cyberstalking is becoming more popular. It’s also showing up in the workplace a lot more often – and sometimes in cases where tech people have a little too much access and can cause all sorts of problems. The article suggests that technology has made it easier for some people who would otherwise just go away to start stalking people – though most don’t know how to cover their tracks. And, for those who think it’s just guys involved with cyberstalking, it seems that plenty of women have been caught cyberstalking as well. The thing that I don’t understand is what these cyberstalkers hope to accomplish? It seems like a huge waste of time.
