How To Make Your Millions From The Internet

from the it's-not-quite-that-easy dept

A British reporter who had never used the internet for very much suddenly decided at the beginning of the year 2000 that it was time for him to figure out what all this day trading stuff was about. He mortgaged his home and attempted to turn ?50,000 into ?1m. He also wrote a book about the experience. The article doesn’t exactly give it away, but he didn’t quite make the amount of money he was aiming for. There’s also a short excerpt from the book which is pretty damn funny (in a Nick Hornby sort of way). A quick look over at Amazon suggests the book is not yet available over here (though if anyone over in the UK wants to send me a copy, that would be cool).
