Email Bloopers

from the don't-do-this dept

Some pretty funny email bloopers that have caused all sorts of problems. The main one discussed in the article is about a company that was hired by Networld Solutions to send out an invitation to a seminar to all its clients and prospective clients. The invitation went out, but with the subject line: “You Are A Loser”. Not the best way to get business. There are a few other amusing email mistakes as well, including an elected official who wrote “reply to this nitwit” at the top of an email he meant to forward to an aide to respond to a constituent’s complaint. Instead he hit reply and the constituent saw the nitwit comment.
