Pageless Content

from the does-anyone-care? dept

For years I’ve been hearing of companies that are trying to create a new analogy for the way people view information. Here’s yet another one. This one uses a “map” that shows how various pieces of information are connected together and lets you navigate via the map. I’ve seen similar solutions in the past, and the fact is that people find them cool – but rarely useful. People are very used to current navigation systems, and find them to be “good enough”. It’s not like your average web surfer complains every day “I wish there were a better way to surf the internet”.
