Meeting VCs
from the perhaps-you-should-prepare dept
Business Week has a former writer for them who’s now VP at a startup writing about her experiences. So far, I’m not impressed. She talks about preparing their tech talent to present to a bunch of VCs where it’s clear that she has no idea what she’s doing. She didn’t even know what kind of money she was looking for when the VCs approached her after the presentation. Considering the ridiculous number of articles and books that have been written on the subject in the past 5 years, it’s practically a crime not to have read anything on the subject if you’re looking to build a business that will require venture funds. Even casual reading would get you further than where she was.
