Turning Ralph Lauren Into A Multimedia Empire

An interesting article about how Ralph Lauren Media is trying to create a multimedia empire with the creative vision of Ralph’s youngest son, David (who’s only claim to fame so far – besides his name – is that he started the failed Swing magazine). What’s interesting is that Ralph Lauren Media (despite David’s association) is really an entirely seperate company from Ralph Lauren. In essence, Ralph Lauren licensed the name to the media company – just like they’ve licensed their name to many other products.
