From Email To Snail Mail (With Advertisements)
from the how-nice dept
A new startup will allow you to write a letter via a website, and they will print it out and send it to a real address for you. They will even do it for free, if you let them include advertisements. Yes, this sounds like the type of business idea that would have raised millions of dollars and been hyped everywhere a few years ago. Now, it just seems pointless. They have said that they’re focusing on the business market to do direct mailings, though. Of course, there are plenty of places that have been doing direct mail for years, so I’m not sure what real advantage they have. Also, what do they do when the US Post Office starts offering this service themselves?

Um, wrong link?
Why does that link go to the story “Man sues strip club after he catches fire”?
Is that part of the business plan??

Re: Um, wrong link?
Ha ha. That’s what I get for multitasking. As I was writing up that post, someone had sent me the link to the strip club lawsuit story. I guess I forgot which link was the last I had cut and pasted. It’s all fixed now.
Re: Re: Um, wrong link?
I think the man suing a strip club after catching fire sounds pretty amusing to me! Does he think that god punished him for being a perv. (of course that term is a very relative thing 😉 )
