Engage To Renegotiate Contracts

from the get-more-more-money-out-of-bleeding-dot-coms dept

Engage, a struggling CMGI dot com, has announced that it’s going to renegotiate its contracts with other struggling dot coms to try to squeeze bigger margins out of them. This is a desperation play. It could also backfire. It will give plenty of companies a good excuse to drop Engage altogether and go with some other company. Besides, as a struggling dot com, trying to get to profitability are you going to be open to the idea of giving away more of your money? I don’t think so.
