Ryan writes “An article on how .com seems to be losing ground to some of the newer TLD’s, especially .tv, .biz, and .info, even though two of them have yet to be approved. Apparently, Network Solutions received so many requests when they offered people the chance to request a new .biz or .info domain name that they had problems processing them all and had to email everyone to try again if they had any problems. Some people, including the company managing the .info registry, say that .com has become synonymous with failure, encouraging groups and individuals to line up for non-dot-com names. Will three letters really make or break your business? If that’s what you’re banking on, I suppose it could. “
