Another Optimistic Outlook
from the the-stock-market-backlash-backlash dept
So, yesterday Forbes has an article saying “things aren’t that bad” and “things will get better”, and it didn’t take Fortune long to come out with their own “things are looking up” article. To be honest, when everyone starts saying things like that I have to wonder if we’re all just rationalizing. However, the arguments they make, for the most part, do ring true. I believe that people have over reacted to the market downturn… but perception can often become reality. Hopefully, some of these articles will turn the perception into a more optimistic future.

Wrong!
No, it will get worse, particularly in the US. The way the US economy is working at the moment will lead to all kinds of problems. You can’t have a system where nobody saves. It doesn’t work.
Re: Wrong!
Details? It’s easy to say things will get worse, but I’d be more interested if you could back up those statements with why you think that’s the case. I’m also not sure I understand what you mean by a “system where nobody saves”. Please explain.
