Going Before Broke

from the thanks-for-the-doe-bro' dept

So now that going broke is an accepted thing for dot coms to do, some have decided to add a little class into the act by going broke cash positive (paying all creditors, handing out nice compensation packages and then closing shop). I’m not sure exactly how I feel about this. Are they quitters or are they just doing the decent thing? I wonder how long it’ll be before founders start trying to give themselves a few million in compensation for running a failed company and closing down early to ensure they can “compensate” everyone.
